Fantastic Community Event To Benefit Local Police In Toms River, NJ

Between Oktoberfests, haunted houses, 5k's, BBQ festivals, and concerts it's going to be a busy fall.

Get ready to mark your calendar for another event that is well worth taking some time out to attend.

This event is unique because, in addition to benefiting the community, it also goes to help the men and women who serve and protect that community.

Being a cop, I'd imagine, is harder now than it's ever been in the past so when there's an event that goes to giving back to our police it's always worth checking out.

This event sounds fun too; there's live music, a dunk tank, a DJ, plus a car show!

In addition to all of the fun stuff happening at the event, the main goal of the night is to raise money to provide bulletproof vests for the Toms River Police.

In years past, this event was held at Pizza Hut, but this year a new location will be used.

According to Patch.com, on Monday, September 26th between 5 pm and 10 pm you'll be able to stroll down Washington Street in Toms River and enjoy everything this event has to offer.

According to the events Facebook page families will be able to enjoy a dunk tank, live music, a DJ, and for football fans Monday night Football.

Support a good cause and watch the Giants take out the Cowboys!

In addition, there will be emergency vehicles on display as well as police motorcycles.

Bulletproof vests are pricey, from what I found it's about three hundred dollars per vest, the police go out every day to keep our community safe, so the least we can do in return is go out, have fun, and support a good cause.
