With President Obama visiting the Shore today, it got me thinking about which classic rockers I would vote for to be our President. Here's my list, who would make yours?

5 - John Lennon

Okay, obviously being deceased is a major obstacle in becoming president. If Lennon were still alive he would have been much higher on my list, but he is still included. If anyone can bring about world peace, it would be him.

4 - Neil Young

The thing I always respect about Neil Young is that he does whatever the eff he wants. He's never been afraid to put out the music he wants, or to not put out the music he doesn't. He'd be a no-nonsense leader, one who would point the finger at other world leaders and make everyone accountable.

3 - Pat DiNizio

I actually did vote for Pat DiNizio when he ran for NJ Senate in 2000 as a member of the Reform Party, so naturally I would vote for him if he ran for a higher office.

2 - Dave Grohl

Okay, a stretch in the term "classic rocker", but he's one of my favorite people in the world. Check out evidence of his awesomeness here. I would vote for him without hesitation.

1 - Bono

Well, if you've ever read anything I post here or listen to anything I say on the air, this wasn't a surprise. U2 is my favorite band, and Bono is one of my favorite frontmen ever. I know that lots of people accuse him of being over-the-top, but I can't criticize anyone for philanthropy.
