Toms River’s Bandwagon Diner Looks To Expand
What's more 'Jersey' than a diner? If you've driven along Route 37 in Toms River at any point during the last 15 years, you've seen the sign for the Bandwagon Diner / Mr. Breakfast.
It's a fairly small building, and the owner is hoping to expand and nearly double the size. Sait Aydin, who also owns the Town & Country Diner, has submitted a proposal to the Toms River Zoning Board of Adjustment to turn the current building, which seats about 110 in 2,400 square feet, into a 4,000 square footer.
A hearing is scheduled for June 27th, and if everything passes, Aydin hopes to start construction after the busy summer season.
