Times Square Cracking Down On Body-Painted Performers
NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio is trying to stop women in Times Square from walking around topless, save for strategically placed body paint.
Do you think this is an issue? I mean, as a person that used to work in NYC and still enjoys going from time to time, I know to stay the hell away from Times Square in the first place.
I'm a hippie at heart, so I think if a woman wants to walk around topless it's her right. The problem is that it seems like you're always hearing stories about how Elmo got in a fight with Cookie Monster, or how Spider-Man pushed some kid. These panhandlers can get too aggressive, and even if a woman has the right to walk around topless, every one else has the right to avoid her if she's getting pushy.
