The Red Carpet Inn Is Gone
It was just under two weeks ago that the first wall came down at the Red Carpet Inn in downtown Toms River.
The demolition was a slow process, because the building was so close to both Main Street and the water. An actual explosion or implosion was impossible, so the structure came down bit by bit. Yesterday afternoon, the final wall came down!

Obviously there is still plenty of debris to clean up, but it's definitely weird to look out the windows here at the office and see...nothing.
