The New Casino Pier Coaster Now Has a Name

I've actually been wondering what the name of the new roller coaster at Casino Pier will be.

The name was revealed on their Facebook page this week, and the Coaster will be called HYDRUS

The new HYDRUS coaster will open this summer and Casino Pier describes the coaster as a:

This state-of-the-art roller coaster corresponds to the highest technical safety standards in the world while thrilling riders with a nearly seven story lift and an even higher drop at an astonishing 97 degrees.  From there, passengers will twist and turn for more than 1,000 feet at speeds up to 45 miles per hour.   The Hydrus features an Immelmann turn, taking riders through a stomach twisting 180 degree turn as well as a 360 degree Heartline roll
