With multiple ride closures, including Kingda Ka, and new roller coasters on the way, guests are in for a whole new experience at NJ's Six Flags Great Adventure
The one thing I know I do not think about is ride safety. Hey, these are massive corporations, right? A business that admits thousands of people throughout the year.
Just in case you didn't know, Townsquare Media Jersey Shore operates 94.3 The Point, 92.7 WOBM, Beach Radio 104.1 FM, 105.7 The Hawk, and Shore Sports Network. It wasn't long ago all five brands hosted a family fun night at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights. It was great being out on the boardwalk with my fellow employees, their families, and all of our loyal listeners.
As a monster thunder and lightning storm bristled through the Jersey Shore on Monday, Six Flags Great Adventure was hit particularly hard when their power went out.
I was in Seaside Heights last night, and I noticed that the new Ferris Wheel at Casino Pier was all lit up. I shot some video. It looks really cool. Enjoy!
Just a little side note...The new Hydrus Roller-Coaster at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights opens TOMORROW at noon...
No word when the new Ferris Wheel and Hydrus roller coaster will be open for riders. Both rides still need to go through state inspection, testing, and training but this past weekend, the Ferris wheel put on a little show.
Everyone is talking about the new rides coming to Casino Pier this Summer.
Of course, we have seen videos and pictures of Hydrus, the new thrill-ride coaster that is almost completed but we haven't heard or seen much about the new Ferris Wheel that is being built...
The new Coaster at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights is closer to being ready for the Summer of 2017!
Big thanks to Jimi Leitner of Captain Hooks in Seaside Heights. He is quite an awesome dude, and he is awesome for letting me post this video that he took of the new coaster at Casino Pier being tested today...
This video was taken about a week ago or so. We just hope that we have good weather this Summer and it will certainly be a great year for Seaside heights!
I have been wanting to get up to the Seaside Heights boardwalk for a while now to check things out and see how the construction of the new coaster was coming along.
