The BlueClaws Will Host Their First Pride Night

On Saturday, June 8th, the Lakewood BlueClaws will host their inaugural LGBTQ Pride Night at FirstEnergy Park.

The Claws have held Irish nights, Italian nights, military appreciations, and more, and now will celebrate the LGBTQ community.

BlueClaws President and General Manager Joe Ricciutti said:

BlueClaws games are about spending time with your family, friends and colleagues, laughing, having a great time and experiencing something collectively as a group, and that’s a universal concept. That concept doesn’t know race, it doesn’t know ethnicity, it doesn’t know sexual orientation, it doesn’t know economic status. It’s a universal theme, and it’s nice to be able to celebrate that.

The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a BlueClaws Pride Night Hat, featuring the Claws logo colored in rainbow stripes.
