Now that the Hawk's Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon is over, I want to say how thankful I am that, with your generous help, we were able to raise money to ease the suffering of Ocean County families who so desperately need our help. Yesterday, we made a considerable amount of progress towards our goal of $105,700...but not before being faced with probably the most tribulating experience we've had to date at Billboard Week.

Andy's a mensch. He's living on a billboard for a week, of course, to raise money for Ocean of Love. He does it every year, and really, truly cares about the children with cancer and their families that are helped out by this wonderful charity. So, Andy, here's to you. ;-)

There may have been a little rain today, but the only downpour was donations on this great first day at Billboard Radiothon 2012!

Charity is a wonderful thing. Giving back to those in need is something we all should strive for in our daily lives. Spending time on and off the air at the 105.7 The Hawk Billboard radiothon has given Just a Bit Outside a chance for a second consecutive year to help raise money for families in Ocean County that have been afflicted with cancer. Just a Bit Outside prides itself on many things. Great radio. Good looks. Knowledge about everything from sports, to life skills, to holding court with the ladies.
