It was announced a while back that Stop and Shop would be closing many underperforming stores throughout the Garden State.
But now we have a date of when one of these stores is getting ready to close.
The pharmacy for this store already closed early in September according to NJ.com, and the store itself is fairly understocked and seems to be running out of everyday products consumers buy.
NJ.com reports that the Phillipsburg Stop and Shop store off Highway 22 will close no later than October 23rd of this year.
The store closings are supposed to be a way to grow the brand according to Stop and Shop President Gordon Reid.
