And one of the Shore's most iconic music venues, the Stone Pony, got a seriously retro facelift.

Asbury Park Stepped Back In Time For The Filming Of Deliver Me From Nowhere

If you're not familiar with it by now, Deliver Me From Nowhere is the latest docu-pic about the making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska. In the film, the Boss is portrayed by Jeremy Allen White.

In order to truly capture the vibe of Asbury Park in the 80s, the entire town was transformed during filming this week, including the Stone Pony.

APP reports that 80s cars were shipped into Asbury Park, a replica carousel was erected and put up inside the carousel house, and the classic ride 'the zipper' was put near the carousel house as well, just like it looked in the 80's.

But what I think is really cool is what they did to the Stone Pony; they updated the marquee and some of the outside of the venue to give it a retro facelift.

The marquee displays some of the most popular bands that would play at the Pony in the 80s, and it sparked a mirage of emotions on Facebook.

People felt incredibly nostalgic reliving what they're calling the best days at the Jersey Shore.

Even Bruce himself was spotted in Asbury park alongside Jeffrey Allen White during filming.

APP reports filming will take place again in Downtown Freehold on December 13th.
