South Toms River Getting New Hotel, Condos
It's still in the very early stages of planning, but a lot of new buildings will be going up in South Toms River.
According to ShoreBeat, the South Toms River planning board has approved the development of a project that will include two retail lots, 360 "multi-family residential units", and a 100-room hotel.
The complex would be located between Chamberlain Street and Railroad Avenue near Dover Road, near where a relatively new Wawa was built.
A spot so close to the Parkway would be good for a hotel and retail, but I'd be interested to see how many people would want to buy a condo and live that close to a major highway.
