Big Dogs Cafe closed its Toms River location a while ago, as well as its location in Bayville, which is now a Columbian Restaurant.

What's Moving Into The Old Big Dogs Cafe In Toms River, NJ?

The other day, though, while driving on 37 to the island, I noticed that something new was coming to the former Big Dogs, and had to pull over and learn more.

It looks like soon, a new Korean Fried Chicken spot will be coming to Toms River: Seoul Fried Chicken.

If you're not familiar with Seoul Fried Chicken, it may be arguably one of the best fried chicken places you can eat at. The chicken is crispy and crunchy on the outside, but juicy and moist on the inside, and that's due to how this place fries the chicken.

Seoul Fried Chicken double-fries its chicken and uses some secret sauces to really bring the flavor home.

Seoul Fried Chicken has a few locations in Jersey already, but this will be the first location near the Jersey Shore, and honestly, I've been wanting to try this place for years, so I think it'll be a great addition to the area!

According to their website, the Seoul Fried Chicken at 3101 NJ 37 in Toms River is planning to open sometime in June of 2026.
