Great Adventure was supposed to open this weekend, but obviously plans have changed.

Six Flags has announced that the Great Adventure theme park, Safari, and Hurricane Harbor have all suspended operations. The parks plan to open "in mid-May, or as soon as possible thereafter" according to a statement.

While there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at the property, the safety of our guests, team members, and animals is always our highest priority. We will continue to closely monitor this evolving situation, and follow the most current guidance from federal, state, and local officials.

If you've already purchased tickets, the valid dates have been extended to the end of the 2020 season. If you have a 2020 Season Pass, they will be extended for the number of operating days the park is closed.
