Living in Jersey, we've got a lot of options when it comes to daytrips. You could do a trip to the beach, and spend a day in the sand and the sun, soaking up some rays while you hear the faint screams from people having fun at Casino Pier.

Or, you could explore one of Jersey's small towns, each with its own personality, and attractions that'll make you think "I should move here" by the time you wrap up your day trip.

One Experience That's A Must Add To Your Jersey Shore Bucket List

There's one experience, though, that is absolutely on my summer 2026 bucket list, and if you're an outdoor adventurer or a train enthusiast, this is for you.

So, if you're familiar with the Jersey Shore, you 100 percent know that Cape May is regularly hailed as the gem of the shore. And with its Victorian-era houses, easy-going vibe, and great bars and restaurants, it's easy to see why.

But Cape May is also home to one of the coolest adventures you can take at the Jersey Shore: The Revolution Rail Company.

Get Ready To Experience NJ's Revolution Rail Company

This experience takes you to the old railways of Cape May and the surrounding area, and lets you actually ride down the tracks in tandem on converted railroad car bikes.

The 4.5-mile trek takes you from the heart of Cape May to the surrounding nature preserves to the old Cape May Canal and back, and each adventure lasts about an hour and a half.

How Much Does The Revolution Rail Company Cost In Cape May, NJ?

It's $90 for two people, or $160 for four people, and it's highly encouraged that you book your trips sooner rather than later, as space and time can be limited.

In Cape May, the Revolution Rail runs Thursdays through Sundays with trips at 10 AM, Noon, 2 PM, and 4 PM.

All The Concerts Coming To NJ's Wellmont Theater In 2026

The Wellmont has a full lineup for Jersey this year, and so far, the shows that have been announced are amazing. What show are you seeing?
