Portion of Washington St in Toms River Closing for Outdoor Dining

What a great idea this is that Downtown Toms River will be doing starting this Friday Night.

A portion of Washington Street will be closed to cars so that local restaurants can provide outdoor seating to their customers using the street starting this Friday Night at 5 pm.

Downtown Night Out will run every Friday night this summer running through August 28th

According to the Downtown Toms River Facebook page:

Join The Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District every Friday evening, 5 pm-9 pm for Downtown Night Out. Restaurants throughout the district will be open for outdoor dining and a section of Washington Street will be closed for some to expand their outdoor dining. Please call restaurants for reservations. We ask everyone to please adhere to all social distancing guidelines.

The restaurants that will have an expanded dining area on Washington Street are Crave, Mandoli's, Garden State Distillery, Capones's, Bubby's Beanery, Daddio's, and Taco-Tastic. Downtown Toms River recommends calling ahead for reservations and guidelines.

Other restaurants that will provide outdoor seating on their property are The Office Lounge, The Mathis House, Water Street Bar & Grill, The Well Coffee & Eatery, and A Thyme For All Seasons.
