Popeyes and Panera Bread Construction Continues on Rt. 72 in Manahawkin, NJ

I was recently in Manahawkin when I noticed that two new restaurants are continuing their construction and look to be headed toward completion in the coming weeks or months. Manahawkin continues to grow with many new businesses and these two look to add to the choices you have for dining out.

First is the former sight of Makato Japanese Restaurant on Rt. 72 next to Ihop in Stafford Square Plaza. You will notice a redevelopment project and the changes to the restaurant will be the future sight of Popeyes, a national chicken franchise coming to Manahawkin.

The construction continues at the future Popeyes and you can see it taking form and will probably be open, I'm assuming, sometime this fall. Popeyes is very popular around the nation and will be a welcomed choice in Stafford Township.

The next project is Panera Bread, which will join Chick Fil A along Route 72 in Manahawkin. Chick Fil A is open and doing business and now they await the completion of the Panera Bread restaurant to finish this dual restaurant location. It looks like work is moving right along and Panera Bread, I'm assuming, will be open sometime this fall.

The addition of both Popeyes and Panera Bread will add to a large collection of restaurant choices in Manahawkin as Southern Ocean County continues to grow and offer residents more dining options, both local and national brands.

Panera Bread has a unique menu and will offer area residents a dining option they haven't had access to in this area of the County.
