Open Letter To Anyone Going to a Jersey Shore Park This Weekend

Ok New Jerseyans throughout the state...We are being given a HUGE test this weekend, I need you to pay attention and listen closely.

All county and state parks will reopen this Saturday morning for what Governor Murphy is calling "passive recreation" which includes fishing, hiking, walking, running or jogging, biking, etc. Golf courses will be open once again, so we are allowed to get outside and really enjoy ourselves.

It couldn't have come at a better time since temperatures this weekend will be in the upper 60's to the low 70's!

With that, I can not express to you how important it is to maintain "SOCIAL DISTANCING". You have no idea how important it is at this point. Be aware of your surroundings.  Be respectful of other's personal space.

We can do this! We can't be selfish about this.

Trust me...If the Governor sees over-crowding and large groups gathering, he WILL shut everything back down!

According to the Governor, "Please enjoy the parks, but stay away from each other. Do not congregate. Wear a face covering, be responsible. If we have a good weekend this weekend, that hopefully can lead to better days ahead. We can keep these parks open.”

Like I said earlier...We are being tested here. Let's not blow this...PLEASE...Do the right thing, and let's all enjoy the upcoming weekend and get back to enjoying the beautiful Jersey Shore.
