Motorcycle rider dies after crashing into telephone pole in Manchester
A New Jersey man driving a motorcycle across Route 539 in Manchester Township was pronounced dead at the scene after he struck a telephone/utility pole on Tuesday evening, around 6:45 pm.

Manchester Police said that 32-year old Phillip Gurganious of Browns Mills was heading north on Route 539 in the Whiting section of town and as he approached the Lincoln Boulevard intersection, his 2019 Yamaha XSR left the roadway and crashed into the pole.
Gurganious was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
This crash continues to be investigated by Manchester Police Sergeant Paul Bachovchin, Patrolman Jesse Hoydis and Patrolman Michael Anderson of the department’s Traffic Safety section.
