The Today Show on NBC was down on Long Beach Island earlier this morning featuring a lot of local businesses on the island while also talking about staying safe from COVID-19 while enjoying all the fun L.B.I has to offer this summer

NBC senior business correspondent Stephanie Ruhle, a New Jersey native, along with her daughter, took viewers on a tour of the island.

Mini-golf and food and a lot of food were highlighted in this 5-minute video from this morning.

Some of the places highlighted on the Today show was Faria's Sport Shop, Holiday snack Bar, Thundering Surf Waterpark & Adventure Golf, and Showplace Ice Cream Parlor

She was then joined with Savannah Guthrie and they went over some guidelines that the CDC recommends this summer to stay safe: Keep tissues handy, carry cloth face masks with you in case of close contact with other people, and always keep hand sanitizer with you when you go out and about this summer

Just yesterday, outdoor dining went into effect where restaurants can now serve their customers outside in their parking lot if possible. Restaurants and bars must place tables six feet from each other, limit eight customers to a table, require employees to wear face coverings and gloves, close buffets and salad bars, and post signs that say patrons with a fever or symptoms of the coronavirus shouldn’t enter.
