Hot Stuff! Is The Heat On in Ocean County, New Jersey?
I was originally going to talk about "heat" because I recently received the electric bill and this month's energy use almost doubled that of July 2020. I was not totally surprised because we have had a very HOT summer.
So it made me think are we "heating" up here in the Garden State? or is it just a cycle of hot weather, much like how we get cycles with more snow in the winter....is this just a weather phase?

So did YOU see your energy usage jump up this summer? obviously, it's all "air conditioning" that is causing the surge in electric use this year....but I'm curious if you are seeing this as well?
According to Google ...."The average summer temp in New Jersey is Summer average temperatures in New Jersey usually range between 82°F to 87°F. Central New Jersey tends to have 15 to 20 days of temperatures above 90°F, while the south registers double such number of days."
How did YOU make out this summer with your energy bills? Did you see an increase with rising temps this summer in New Jersey?
