That's exactly why one brand of hand soap has issued a nationwide recall, and you're going to want to check your bathroom and kitchens ASAP to make sure you get rid of this potentially deadly product.

Nationwide Handsoap Recall Linked To Potentially Deadly Bacteria
The recall was issued after it was found that some of the bottles of hand soap had bacteria that could lead to B. cepacia infections.
In healthy people, it causes little to no harm, and at worst would cause a small infection around a cut if you washed your hands with the recalled soap.
Why This Recall Is Especially Risky To Vulnerable People
The real risk is to immunocompromised people, or those tending to immunocompromised people. The recalled soap could cause deadly sepsis if the bacteria were to infect a small cut or wound.
The Brand Behind the Recall and Which Products Are Affected
According to Yahoo, the recalled soaps are from a company called Dermarite and were sold in the US and Puerto Rico. The following soaps are recalled.
- Dermakleen
- DermaSarra
- KleenFoam
- PeriGiene
What To Do If You Purchased The Recalled Soap
If you believe you have any of these recalled soaps in your home or at work, you're able to return the product to where you purchased it.
