Fundraiser Planned For Wunder Wiener Owner

The Berkeley Township PBA 237 and Beachwood-Pine Beach PBA 253 is holding a fundraiser for the owner of Der Wonder Wiener, Gerald LaCrosse, on July 5th, 6th, and 7th from 11a-3p at the site of where Der Wunder Wiener once stood in the old Beachwood Plaza.

They will be setting up their trailer and grilling up hot dogs to sell to the public to raise some money and help support Gerry and his family.

Gerry has been in critical, but stable condition since Monday morning when an SUV went out of control and slammed into Der Wunder Wiener building with Gerry inside. The Wunder Wiener Structure has stood in the Beachwood Plaza for 34 years.

All proceeds will go to helping Gerry and his family out with medical bills, and for whatever else is needed. There is also a GoFundMe page set up as well
