Eric Decker Doubles Down On Surgery
Eric Decker played three games this season before going on IR with a torn rotator cuff.
However, before he undergoes shoulder surgery, the Jets announced he underwent hip surgery yesterday. Recovery time for this type of hip surgery is about six months. Once Decker is off crutches, he will have his shoulder worked on, a surgery which takes about eight months to recover from. The six-plus-eight-equals-fourteen month timeframe isn't totally accurate, if Decker is able to rehab and get off crutches earlier. Still, back-to-back surgeries aren't a good sign for the Jets.
Oh sorry, that's LEANNA Decker, my bad. Here's Eric:
Oops, that's BROOKLYN Decker! Why can't I get this right?
