Banana Ball Just Came to ShoreTown Ballpark and the Jersey Shore Can’t Stop Talking About It
ShoreTown Ballpark turned into a pure party zone over the weekend, when the Loco Beach Coconuts took on the Party Animals, bringing Banana Ball to ShoreTown Ballpark for the first time ever, and if you missed it, you'll definitely want to catch a game next time this tour comes to Jersey.
What Is Banana Ball, And How Is It Different From Baseball?

If you're not familiar with Banana Ball, it's a ton of fun to watch, and a great way to get people interested in a sport (baseball) that could use a little more fun around it anyway.
There are 11 rules in Banana Ball, and they all focus on making sure the game keeps moving and is incredibly entertaining for fans.
Players are expected to do trick plays, dances in between at-bats, and in between each inning, the in-stadium hosts are in the stands playing games with the crowd.
My favorite part is that there's a two-hour play limit on the game. As someone who has a hard time paying attention to a baseball game, this was a huge plus.
Banana Ball Came To ShoreTown Ballpark This Past Weekend
Banana Ball took over ShoreTown Ballpark this past weekend (June 11th through the 13th), and my wife and I were lucky enough to grab some tickets. It really was an amazing experience.
There was live music before and after the game. The players really took the time to interact with fans, which was amazing to see, and on top of that, there's not a bad seat in the house when you go to ShoreTown Ballpark.
The Party Animals Took The Series At ShoreTown Ballpark
When my wife and I went Saturday night, the Party Animals beat the Locobeach Cocunuts, and ended up winning the three-game series 2-1.

If Banana Ball ever makes its way back to ShoreTown Ballpark, you'll definitely want to make sure you grab your tickets.
