If you see what looks like a Sting Ray this Summer at the beaches, don't be alarmed. It's probably a Cownose Ray swimming and feeding here at the Jersey Shore

From Sea Girt down to Ship Bottom, a lot of them have been spotted.

According to the Asbury Park Press:

Rays are in abundance on the East Coast and migrate from southern waters to New Jersey in late spring and summer when the water temperatures warm up.

Experts say they are pretty skittish and that they are relatively harmless to people.
