CAUTION: This Jersey Shore County Showing Highest Level Of Covid19 In NJ
We are not out of the woods yet, when it comes to this 100-year pandemic. Covid19 has threatened our lives now for far too long.
According to the new Centers for Disease Control guidelines, even if you are vaccinated they caution you to continue to wear a mask indoors. Coronavirus cases are spiking. This is true nationally and especially here in New Jersey. The only county in the state that has the highest Covid19 “community spread” is Monmouth County.
The CDC reported they have been alerted of about 400 new cases in just a seven-day period. These new findings are alarming. They have also grabbed the attention of Tom Arnone. He is the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners Director. Arnone says,
"We also recognize that summer visitors who may receive a COVID-19 test may be giving their summer addresses versus permanent addresses when asked to provide this information, thus increasing our COVID-19 totals."

I don't know about you, but I started wearing a mask in stores again.
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is not ready to issue a new mask mandate. He is, however, suggesting everyone wear a face mask while indoors.
The Governor said last week,
"Our metrics are trending in the wrong direction, and new data suggests the delta variant is more transmissible even among vaccinated individuals, which is why we are making this strong recommendation."
Just in the past few weeks, here is a list of new positive cases of Covid19 around the county…
Freehold Borough - 1,600
Freehold Township - 4,000
*Middletown - 6,500.
I hope we don’t relapse back into a socially distancing world. Good thoughts to all.
