Brick's 2016 Halloween Spooktacular Trunk Or Treat is happening Friday October 21st at 6:30pm at the Drum Point Sports Complex, and it'll be bigger than ever!

The Recreations Department got complaints last year that the area was too crowded and kids were pushing each other around to get candy. Councilwoman Heather deJong said the area designated for the event would expand to allow more space for all who want to participate. In addition to the Trunk-Or-Treating, there will be a pumpkin patch, a costume parade and awards for the best decorated trunk and the best costume.

If you want to give out candy, contact the Recreation Department at 732-262-1073 to register your car.

The Recreation Department also is seeking donations of bagged candy for the event. Bagged candy can be donated in advance by dropping it off at the Recreation Department office at Civic Plaza, 270 Chambersbridge Road, 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. If you are bringing children to the event, the Recreation Department asks that you bring a bag of candy with you.
