We have over 130 miles of beautiful beaches lining our coasts, not to mention all of the fun and unique little towns along the bay that offer beach vibes.
Between you and me, I think Ocean Gate is Jersey's real hidden gem in terms of a beach town.
It has an amazing mile-long boardwalk that offers perfect views of the Barnegat Bay and Seaside Heights, a few bars and restaurants that you can walk to from right off the beach.

The Top 20 Beaches In New Jersey Revealed
I love a list that tries to determine what the best beaches in Jersey are.
It really all depends on the person or family, and it depends on what you're looking for.
If you want peace and quiet and serenity, a place like Island Beach State Park or Whale Beach would be perfect for you.

If you want the hustle and bustle of a world-famous boardwalk and rides and quirky boardwalk shops, then you'd be better off in a beach town like Wildwood or Seaside Heights.
Speaking of Seaside Heights, I was blown away that it didn't make America's Oceans list of the top 20 beaches at the Jersey Shore!
