This Beloved Asbury Park, NJ Coffee Shop Shutters One Of Its Popular Shops
New Jersey really loves its coffee shops, I mean we're a state that's always on the go so making sure we are fueled up is extremely important.
Over the past couple of months, we've followed several stories of local coffee shops opening, growing, and expanding right here along the Jersey Shore.
For example, Spire Coffee House has opened its second location in Downtown Toms River, it's now open and the coffee is really good.
There's even a new cozy little coffee shop coming soon to Toms River called First Date Coffee Shop.
It's going to be a cozy little coffee spot that serves up good vibes, fresh coffee, and baked goods.

Sadly, it's not always good news in the world of coffee, and that's definitely the case in Asbury Park.
A long-standing Asbury Park coffee shop is now closed on the boardwalk.

Located in Convention Hall since 2012, this coffee shop has been a popular spot for beachgoers, tourists, and locals alike.
According to APP Asbury Park Roastery closed its location on the Asbury Park Boardwalk on December 29th.
However, the coffee shop's main location at 803 Second Avenue remains open, as it has been since 2007.
The reason for the closure is that the shop owner Alli Kennedy wanted to focus more on the coffee shop's main store off the boardwalk.
She plans on making Asbury Park Roastery a haven for people who just need to relax and refuel.
She plans on hosting events, meditations, and more in the near future.
So although we're sad to see the Asbury Park Boardwalk location close down, I'm excited to see what the future holds for Asbury Park Roastery.
