So often, it seems like we are seeing more and more businesses announce that they have to close up shop due to tough economic times.

It's something that I hate seeing as often as we do, so when a new local business is getting ready to open up shop, I get particularly excited.

A Brand New Coffee Shop Is Coming Soon To Downtown Toms River, NJ

Now, Toms River is no stranger to a vibrant coffee scene.

Tommy Boys Cafe is wildly popular among locals, and up until it closed about a year ago, Bubby's Beanery was a good place to grab a cup of joe as well.

Recently, Spire Coffee House just opened their second location in Toms River, they're now open on Main Street and are serving up some really good coffees and some baked goods.

But now, it looks like another coffee shop is coming soon to Toms River.

You can never have too many options.

Toms River's newest coffee shop will be located off Washington Street, right next to Capone's and Garden State Distillery, and all we know for certain is that this place is a serious passion project.

According to Instagram, First Date Coffee Shop will be opening in 2025 in Downtown Toms River.

Owners Sadrina (pictured above) and Joshua have a real love and passion for coffee and want to bring their vision of a cozy place to meet and grab a cup of joe a reality.

First Date Coffee will be located at 11c Washington Street, and they've already started making moves to bring their dream a reality.

From specialty coffees to refreshers, to baked goods and pastries, I think this will be a nice addition to downtown Toms River.

Plus it's always nice to see a local business pop up and hopefully blossom.
