Any time we get word of a planned DWI checkpoint, people start spouting all over Facebook about the legality of the practice.

The NJ State Police hit two points in a Facebook post of their own. (1) They will have two checkpoints set up in Cumberland County this weekend, and (2) checkpoints have been ruled legal by the courts.

Honestly, I don't understand why people get upset over checkpoints, or think they can outsmart the cops by driving around it or refusing the test. Sure it can be annoying to be stuck in line, but I'm willing to wait in traffic for a few minutes if it'll keep drunk drivers off the road.

DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE.
