A New Great White Pings Off the Jersey Shore
OCEARCH has attached trackers to a ton of sharks all over the world.
Mary Lee, a massive great white shark, last pinged off our shores in June of 2017. As of January 2018, researchers believed such a long time without a ping means we've seen the last of her.
While Mary Lee checked in at 14 feet and 3,400 pounds, our new marine visitor Jane seems downright petite at 10 feet and 521 pounds.
