A Jersey Shore Bakery Will Be Back To Compete On The Food Network

Back in 2016, JenniCakes in Toms River got the opportunity to compete on the Food Network Show Cake Wars! Later this month, the crew from JenniCakes will be back on TV, this time competing on the Halloween-themed FreakShow Cakes!

I always love the Halloween shows on The Food Network, and they describe Freakshow Cakes like this:

Freakishly talented cake artists step right up to the sideshow tent to whip up Halloween cakes in a one-of-a-kind cake showdown hosted by Food Network Kitchen's Vivian Chan and pastry chef Zac Young. The baker with the most wildly imaginative and hair-raising cake design wins $10,000 and the title of Halloween Freakshow Champion.

JenniCakes will be on the episode "Clowning Around"; here's what The Food Network says about that episode:

The three teams of bakers bring out the fear -- not the fun -- in their creepy clown-inspired cakes. Hosts Vivian Chan and Zac Young also task them with making concession stand treats.

Freakshow Cakes debuts on Sunday October 18th, and the "Clowning Around" episode is the fourth of this season, and will first air at 10:30pm on Sunday October 25th.

JenniCakes left their brick and mortar store in Toms River a while ago, and have been working on a private-order basis.
