5K Run To Benefit Toms River Education Foundation This Weekend

I have the perfect solution to burn off all those calories that you will be consuming tomorrow for Thanksgiving.

How about a nice 5K run on Saturday? Not a bad idea right? If running is too much for you, you could always walk the course. And, it's is all for a good cause

It's the Toms River Educational Foundation 5K Run/Walk this Saturday where all proceeds will benefit the students of the Toms River School District. Registration is just $25 dollars

Race day registration begins at 12:45 p. m at 101 Washington Street

• 2:45 p.m- Kiddie Dash (Free for kids)
• 3 p.m- 1K Fun Run- $15
• 3:30 p.m- 5 K Run/Walk - $25

There is also a post-race pasta party at Capone's immediately following the race

The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend so you could burn off all that food AND you can sleep in since the races don't start until 3 p.m

This race is super-important this year with budgets and funding being cut by the state, so please support the race and let any runners that you know about the race. The students of the Toms River school district will thank you.
