World’s First Candy Department Store Coming To NJ

When and if the American Dream Meadowlands finally opens, it will be home to the world's first "candy department store", called IT'SUGAR.

The plans are for a three-story, 22,000 square foot space with over 10,000 choices of candy, all highlighted by a 60-foot-tall Statue of Liberty made completely of candy.

There are already over 100 IT'SUGAR locations around the country, but this will be their first location in north NJ, and their first "department store" location.

Assuming American Dream actually opens, you can get a job there (if you live close enough to make it worth it).  IT'SUGAR has two recruitment events this month, August 23rd and 24th from 9a-5p at the Hilton Hotel at the Meadowlands. The are looking for assistant managers, an operations manager, stock associates and a talent acquisition specialist. Interested candidates should fill out an application online first.
