World Trade Center Twin Towers Would Have Been 40 Today
April 4th, 1973 was the official ribbon cutting for the original World Trade Center in lower Manhattan.
The Twin towers stood as the world's largest buildings until the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) in Chicago surpassed them.
