According to the Asbury Park Press, The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park is gearing up for an event to both honor and celebrate the late, great Clarence Clemons.

A record release party will be held on Friday night (Nov. 18) for previously unheard Clarence Clemons Christmas hits. My favorite parts of the planned event? The fact that Clarence dressed as Santa Claus in 1981 when the songs were recorded, and that his son's band will be live at the event.

Tickets cost $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Festivities will begin at 7:30 p.m.

I can't think of a better way to kick off the holiday spirit than an event like this.
