You can find many creatures along South Jersey's shore line. A squid, however, is probably close to the least likely animal you'd encounter.

It's not uncommon to see horseshoe crabs, jellyfish, even, unfortunately, a beached (or worse - deceased) dolphin occasionally. However, an octopus is not what you'd expect to spot while walking up and down your favorite South Jersey beach. What would you do if you did see one, though? How would you react to seeing this on a Jersey beach?

Most would probably say they'd run away, but South Jersey residents would probably think it's a pretty cool sight and stick around to see what happens. No doubt, there'd be some great footage of the South Jersey squid floating around social media in no time.
