Wawa On Route 37 Closed For Renovations
Working in downtown Toms River, the Wawa on Route 37 near Hooper Avenue is my go-to location. Normally I just swing through for gas, but the siren call of a Gobbler can sometimes be too much to resist.
Yesterday I was low on gas and needed to make the trip, and was greeted by a lot of chain-link fence, construction vehicles, and a big sign.

No Wawa iced tea! No Wawa coffee! No Wawa cheesesteaks or chicken finger bowls or mac & cheese!
If you still need to get gas, your best bet is to use the entrance and exit along Route 37. If you come up the side streets like Lowell or Conifer like I did, you might have to navigate around some big trucks, so just make things easier for yourself and use the main entrance.
