Toms River’s Last Subway Is Closing
There are a handful of Subway restaurants in Ocean County, but the last stand-alone location in Toms River is closing their doors for good on September 26th.
OCScannerNews has a picture of the sign on the door, saying
Hi! To all my customers. Thank You for your business. This location will be closed for good from 9/26/19.
Thank you,
Subway
It's always been a mind-blowing factoid (at least to me) that there are more Subway locations worldwide than McDonald's and Starbucks. However, the rise of other fast-casual chains, along with people spending more at local restaurants, is leading to drop in popularity for Subway.
