Toms River, New Jersey Business Owner Featured On Undercover Boss

Well, you never know when you are going to be Undercover Bossed! One of our Jersey business owners in Toms River, New Jersey is being featured on the show tonight!

You'll get to see Hezrron Gonzales train president and CEO of Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, Linda L. Chadwick as she goes undercover (and under wig) to see how effectively he is running his business first-hand.

If you are unfamiliar with Undercover Boss, it is a two-time Emmy Award-winning reality show that let's us peak in on high-level executives anonymously working for their own companies as a regular, everyday worker. CEOs see the inner workings of their operation right from the trenches and learn a lot in the process.

Hezrron Gonzales has a great American dream story...he came to the U.S. from the Philippines back in 2006 and his first job was working at a Rita's in Union County. He said from day one he had ambition to not just be the best worker, but to own his own location. He saved his paychecks carefully, rose through the ranks to become a manager and eventually bought the Fischer Boulevard Rita's ice shop from folks that were ready to retire.

People in the community know and love him...as the Asbury Park Press reports, he is a regular selling ices at Toms River East High School football games and donating 20% of sales to the marching band. He works hard, gives back and now he's going to get rewarded on national TV! Way to go!
