Toms River May Land In The Guinness Book of World Records
What could you do in 1,000 days? In not quite three full years, I'm sure you could accomplish a ton. If you stick to a diet, you could lose all the weight you want. Stick to a workout routine, and you'll be jacked. Hell, Lewis & Clark went from Illinois to the Pacific Coast and back to St. Louis in less time. Plenty of people have walked across the entire USA in just a few months, let alone a few years.
The Guinness Book of World Records confirmed that they have received an application for a new record from Toms River: longest road construction ever.
Larry Schuster, owner of Schuster's Car Wash, submitted the application, saying
I was just sitting here thinking 'Wow, this has been really long.' I just Googled it and I figured I'd fill it out, send it in and see what happens ... We need to turn this around to something funny.
Guinness says they typically take 12-15 weeks to respond to applications. We'll see how much work gets done on Route 166 in that time.
