
Toms River man found with heroin, ecstasy at traffic stop in Ocean Township
Police in Ocean Township (Monmouth County) have announced a pair of arrests following a traffic stop on Route 35 and Valley Road.

Detectives were conducting surveillance in the area at the time when they pulled a vehicle over and found Shahid Collins, 42, of Toms River and Theresa M. Martinez, 37, of Ocean Township in possession of hard drugs.
Collins, specifically, was found with Ecstasy and drug paraphernalia.
Martinez was found with Heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Both were then arrested and brought to the police station for processing.
Collins is charged with Possession of Ecstasy, Possession with the Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Martinez is charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Evidence.
Collins and Martinez were then released on criminal summonses pending an initial court appearance.
