
Toms River man charged with criminal sexual contact with a young child
Ocean County Prosecutor's SVU Detectives and Toms River Police arrest a township man on Tuesday for alleged criminal sexual contact of a child under the age of 13-years old, announced Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer.
53-year old James Holland is also charged with endangering the welfare of a child in the incident he is accused of committing with the child.
The victim disclosed the abuse to a school guidance counselor last week.
Holland's charge of Criminal Sexual Contact is in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2b and Endangering the Welfare of a Child is in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1).
He is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
