Last night at Toms River High School South, the Toms River Police Department hosted the Townsquare Media One Hit Wonders!

We got off to a hot start! I picked up an RBI single to give the One Hit Wonders an early 1-0 lead. The bottom of the inning though, wasn't quite as good. We set up a "mercy rule" to limit scoring to 5 runs per inning, and the TRPD hit that limit without much struggle, putting us in a 5-1 hole. We struck back in the second and tied things up, but the TRPD hit the mercy rule in the bottom of the 2nd again.

After that things got a little hazy, I may have blacked out and lost time, but in the end the score ended up in the vicinity of 24-12. Who may have won or lost, that's irrelevant in the end, it just matters that we all had fun, right?

Big thanks to the Toms River Police Department for playing along and letting us goof around, and thanks to everyone who came out to support the Toms River Police Foundation!
