This is pretty wild.

In mid-August, we got some messages on our Facebook page from an Italian artist who wanted to share her Bruce Springsteen portrait.

Just a few days ago, we got another message from another artist, and I was happy to share her artwork too.

Here's where things get crazy: while I was creating the 2nd post about Denise Esposito, I went back and checked up on the first artist, Paola Lomuscio. In doing so, I discovered that apparently an Italian news station picked up on the fact that an artist was getting American attention, and did a whole video on it!

HOLY CRAP. They took a screenshot of my blog, my name was on Italian television!

I put the closed-captioning on that video, then turned the auto-translate to English. There are a few bumps along the road, but the gist is how "sometimes the most beautiful news is the unexpected", and talks about how Paola got her work recognized as part of the "Friends of Bruce Springsteen Special Collection" at Monmouth University (my alma mater) as well as featured on our website!

If I ever make my way to Italy, you can be damn sure I'll ask EVERY SINGLE PERSON I MEET if they heard about this story on the news.
