There was some confusion this weekend on their Doyle's Pour House Facebook page.

It had everyone wondering what was going on. I have friends that go here every week and everyone was confused.

Doyle's Pour House announcement on Facebook:

To all of our wonderful guests, family, and friends, we wanted to thank you for your continued patronage at our wonderful Doyle's in Barnegat. Doyle's is and will always be in our hearts and minds forever. We decided that we're going to move on, and this will be our last weekend together. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers, thank you once again for the wonderful memories. Not going anywhere in particular, and we are not saying goodbye....until we see each other again. Hope to see you by the end of Tuesday. Have a wonderful day Barnegat, Ocean County, and beyond.

When we all read this there was a gasp of "closing", right? On Facebook, there was so much confusion and just wondering if Doyle's was closing forever. I can see why so many people would think this.

Doyle's fans, their announcement was just a little jolting, they are not closing there are just new owners taking over. I know the owners have been there quite a while and I don't know who the new owner or owners are, but I'm sure we'll all still love Doyle's as much as we do now. I'm just glad they are not closing their doors.
