Marlboro Police say Route 520 is "more than than likely going to be closed for a good part of the day" following a motor vehicle accident around 8:49 am Sunday morning near Ginesi Drive.

Route 79 is closed to traffic between Tennent Road and Route 520 after a construction crew doing road repairs struck a high pressure gas line last night near Church Lane.

There will be a special DWI/Traffic checkpoint detail this weekend making sure motorists are obeying the law.

So if the construction project in Toms River at Rt. 37 & Rt.166 hasn't been bad enough for over a year now, just wait until next week. The on-ramp (next to Office Lounge) that gets you onto Rt.37 east from Northbound Main Street will be closed starting on Monday (4/2) and lasting through April 13th My advice is to avoid that areal altogether next week.......
