6 Great Sports Bars To Watch Football At Around Ocean County, NJ
Summer is on the back burner, and local summer is starting to heat up.

It was kind of strange this week coming home to my street and not only finding a parking spot on my block but actually finding one right in front of my apartment.
But hey, I'm not going to complain!
What I'm really looking forward to as the days start to get shorter and the weather cools off is football.
I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the world's most knowledgeable football fan.
I can't tell you who was drafted to who, what college the Giants QB went to, or what the latest stats are for the Jets (or any team for that matter).
But what I do love about football Sundays are four things:
- Food
- Friends
- Beer
- Screaming at a TV
There's just something about gathering around a TV with your friends, or at a bar and ordering wings, and pizza, and throwing some chili in the slow cooker for halftime.
So when the regular season kicks off this week, I have to ask you this;
What Is The Best Place To Watch Football Near The Jersey Shore?
In 2021, I watched the Eagles kick off their season at the Crabs Claw in Lavalette.
It's not really a sports bar so the TVs are relatively small, but the food is good, the beer's cold, and you can still hear yourself think.
This year, I'm thinking of switching back and forth between the Ocean Club and the Sawmill on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk.
The Ocean Club, according to their Facebook page is doing a brunch during some of the games and has some pretty good-looking drink deals.
The Sawmill from what I understand also does a pretty good brunch menu during the football season, at least that's what I was told by a few locals over the summer!
I can't wait to put on my Seahawks Jersey, grab some food, and watch some football this week.
